GEMF is an international festival of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music held annually in May with concerts, workshops and free family events. Known for its exciting programming, outstanding international guest performers and appeal to a broad audience, the Festival explores a different theme every year and puts a special emphasis on exploring music in Ireland in this period as well as promoting contemporary Irish performers of Early Music.
