Born and raised in Dublin, I graduated from UCD with a BA in 2003 and a PhD in 2007, and subsequently joined the academic staff. In August 2013, I moved to the University of Hertfordshire where I am a lecturer in twentieth century history. I am the author of The Cosgrave Party(2010) and A Just Society for Ireland? 1964-87 (2013). I am currently researching a book on the everyday lives of women in Ireland in the 1960s.
