Bren Ó Ruaidh has toured internationally, playing with some of the finest musicians in the world and he has been a strong voice on the Cork jazz scene for several years. He studied with John Godfrey in UCC, and later with Lee Konitz, Karlheinz Stockhausen and La Monte Young. Having recently returned from New Orleans, where he performed with some of the best traditional jazz musicians, his band, "Riff Raft" has taken the swing dance scene by storm and their debut album is due out in March.
