Sarah O'Toole is Artistic Director of Galway-based Anam Theatre and works as an actress, theatre director, playwright and teacher both at NUI Galway and Galway Actors Workshop. She started out in Galway Youth Theatre and is a graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting. She did her MA in Theatre Directing at Middlesex University, studying at GITIS Moscow and ISI, Bali as part of it. She is a big fan of the Michael Chekhov technique and has a huge interest in representation of gender in theatre.
