We Get High September Mystery Show!

This year's Irish Times Theatre Award nominees We Get High Collective are very excited to announce that we will be premiering a new show in Dublin this September. Though no specific details can be released just yet, we promise it'll be as good as Normal (if not better)!

Our new play examines the subject of autism but in a way that it has never been done before. The writer takes a mother/daughter-in-law relationship and explores what love means to these two women. With moments of high emotion, cutting comedic words and pertinent questions at the heart of the piece, it promises to be very special taking the audience on a journey so unchartered yet so familiar. Autism is something common but often misunderstood so in response to that, the play offers an insightful look into this subject.

At this point, we are completely unfunded so while we have been lucky to raise a small portion of the budget already through offline fundraisers etc, the online push would really, really help to make sure we can bring you the highest level production we can.

Of course we will keep the costs to a minimum but any money raised will go towards covering:

1. Creative Fees - (actors, director, writer etc)

2. Production Fees - (tech costs, rehearsal)

3. Management Fees -(insurance,administrative costs)

4. Marketing Fees - (photography, graphic design, printing)



The main challenge we are facing is the monetary one so once we conquer that, we can focus on bringing you the best production possible. Again, without giving details away, we will have to compete with many other performances over the same period making attracting audience more difficult. Your help would give us the lift we need to make sure we are visible,get the right audiences and that this piece is properly highlighted!

Getting your work made can be really difficult in 2017 and we also appreciate that money can be hard to come by so we would like to sincerely thank anyone who can be a funder for making everything possible.
