This Is The Trip- Photography Exhibition

'This Is The Trip' will be my first solo exhibition, showcasing the live music photographs I have shot over the past two years in and around Kilkenny. I live for music and photography and after graduating with an honours degree in Photography in the Arts from Swansea Metrpolitan University, Wales I threw myself into this decadent lifestyle! I became Set Theatre's resident photographer shortly after they opened their doors. For the past two years, I have had the pleasure of shooting some of my favourite bands such as Rodrigo y Gabriela, Villagers and James Vincent McMorrow to name a small few in such a beautiful and photogenic venue!

Seens as this will be my first solo exhibition, I want to do it in style! The Opening Night will be a lively, roaring, energetic gig where bands that I have previously photographed will entertain your ears while your eyes dance from one photograph to the next!

The Opening Night of the exhibition will be a charity gig, charging a small entry fee to see roughly 8 amazing bands! The money raised through Fund It will be used for the printing and framing of roughly 20 photographs and a few 8x10 prints which will be sold for charity also. It will also go towards paying the sound and lighting technicians. This means any money raised on the door and through print sales can go straight to the charity and none (or, at least, very little) will come out of it to cover my costs.
