What is The Goo?

'The Goo is... that feelin' ya get when your out and your havin' a laugh and ya don't want it to stop and the last thing ya wanna do is go home.'

'The Goo is an Aristotelian confluence of events which all combine at once... to make for a fuckin' deadly night out.'

'The Goo' is a mini-series comedy consisting of five episodes about 'Dave' and 'Jonesy', two 20 something best friends, trying to deal with life's problems whilst in the midst of a six week bender.

Written by and starring Stephen Jones and Dave Fleming as well as featuring cameos from some of Ireland's top acting talent.

Jonesy and Dave are actually best mates in real life and this piece deals with their friendship, their own (and the country's) relationship with booze and what it's like to be out of college, be working in the 'real' world, hurtling towards the dreaded 30 and still be stuck in a rut.

Money raised from this campaign will help pay for filming equipment as well as post production costs.
