Thank you so much for checking out our Fundit page!
We here at Maylin Productions need your help to get our new show, 'The Dead Woman's Son' written by Rua O'Donnachu, up and running and would appreciate any donation you can make.
This show is being directed by the wonderful Michael Mc Cabe. Sound and composition is being created by sound artist David Donohoe and our lighting designer is the talented John Crudden.
It's taking place in Smock Alley Theatre, The Boys School from the 26th of November- 1st of December
Description of the play:
This new piece of writing will explore what it’s like to live in a world which has been created out of necessity. When you can’t face reality, what do you do? This Boys’ life comes to a screeching standstill after witnessing a tragic accident, which results in his Mothers death. Now 20 years on, the freight trains, ballerinas, feathers, childhood memories and Vivaldi plague this young mans mind and lead him to perform unthinkable acts. A new play brought to you by Maylin Productions.
This show is coming to you from Maylin Productions, the people who brought you 'Men are from Stoneybatter, Women from Phibsboro' (2010-2012) and 'Memoirs of A Dublin Bus Driver' (2011)
This show is going to be an experiential show for the audience incorporating the senses in every way. We have assembled an amazing team of people who are all working together for profit share to create a really unique piece of theatre.
Where will your money go, i hear you ask??
Any donation you make will go to a great length in helping us create this show in terms of set, costume, props, equipment, marketing and everything else required to produce a show like this. We appreciate anything you can contribute.
In return we have some really nice rewards for your generosity.
Take a look at our video for more information on the show.
Maylin Productions are very fortunate to have the support of Dublin City Council for this production. However we need your support as well to make this show the best it can possibly be.
Thanks a million in advance and we hope to see you at the show.
November 26th- December 1st in the Boy's School, Smock Alley Theatre, Wood Quay.
