The Bridge

By The Bridge

description

The Bridge is a non-profit visual arts magazine by and for students of Trinity College Dublin, which is going into its second year of publication. We write about all aspects of visual art, from art, to architecture to design. From reviews to interviews, from historical to the now, The Bridge brings its readers to the greatest pulses of visual arts, with a key focus on the local art scene. We hope to publish two issues this year. Our provisional publication dates are:

Volume 2 Issue 1 - December/January
Volume 2 Issue 2 - March/April

The money raised from Fund it will primarily cover the minimum printing costs of Issue 1, and then any residual money available will be put towards funding Issue 2. Our objective is to promote the visual arts on our campus through our free publication. If we do not Fund the printing costs, there is a large risk that our two issues will only be available online this year.

The Team comprises of a wide range of students from Trinity College Dublin, split over various years, disciplines and interests. We are all passionate about this project and have high hopes for the future of The Bridge. Past issues have covered the likes of Irish video artist, Duncan Campbell, Irish photographer Paul Seawright, Dublin’s Forgotten Zine Archive and Marina Abramovic’s canine parody, Marina Abramopug. The list goes on and it can continue to go on with your help!

We thank you in advance for your kind support of The Bridge!
