A handful of words go up in smoke and two sisters fall apart. Can they find a way to piece their world back together before Mam comes home for dinner?
Noteworthy by Roisin Coyle is a dark comedy about two sisters, one burnt suicide note and not a lot of time. The play is a look at the frustration, anger and love between the two sisters in the aftermath of their brother’s suicide. Noteworthy is Roisin Coyle's second play. Roisin took part in the Royal Court's Young Writers' Programme in 2008 and then in the Abbey Theatre's New Playwrights' Programme in 2010. Her first play, Chaos Theory was produced in the New Theatre in 2010 as part of their new writing week. Noteworthy will be Janet Moran’s directing debut. Janet is an actor based in Dublin. She has worked for many theatre companies in Ireland, most notably with Corn Exchange and at the Abbey Theatre. Janet's television work includes Trivia (RTE) and the forthcoming Quirke for BBC.
Noteworthy will run from February 18th – March 1st 2013 in Theatre Upstairs.
Along with Roisin, Janet and a fantastic cast including Lauren Larkin, the show will benefit from the artistic, technical and administrative talents of a dedicated production team. Everyone involved in the production is excited to be a part of a show by a talented new playwright. We need financial assistance to help cover our production costs totaling €2000. Your donation, no matter how small or large, will be of incredible importance to the production of Noteworthy.
We invite you to become an honorary part of the company by sponsoring the production of this fantastic play!
Thank you.
