Sherkin festival with Kíla & Much More!

Experience a festival with a difference, six bands and two djs as well as Kíla's performance. Enjoy the beauty of the island, relax and go for a swim at Silver Strand.

Tickets costs 50 Euro. It will take place on Saturday 17th August but there will be various acoustic sets and sessions happening the following day. Return ferry and camping are included in the ticket price! But please remember that cars are not allowed on the Island.

This Fund it campaign is to help cover event costs such as insurance, the marquee, sound and lighting equipment,  travel and other costs, the sound engineers, porta-loos, the ferry costs, transport of heavy goods, tickets and other promotional packaging such as t-shirts, flyers and the tickets themselves, their design and printing production.

Other advice about coming to Sherkin Island and the festival:

If I am successful with this campaign, I will e-mail you with detailed information about collecting tickets in late July. But for your information, tickets will typically be available for collection at the ferry port in Baltimore before boarding the ferry or I can post them out to you in advance.

Food and beverages will be available at the Jolly Roger bar and the hotel opposite, the Islander's Rest. Further accommodation is available there too, call them for details on 028 - 20116 or check their websites for more details. I also recommend those camping to do a smart shop in advance in Skibbereen, there is a LIDL on the road to Baltimore. Buy ideal foods for camping such as fruit, crackers, salad things, biscuits, water and other beverages. WATER is very important.

There is a recycling station on the Island, please don't litter but dispose of it in one of the available bins supplied. There is no ATM on Sherkin Island and it is better to go to one in Skibbereen, in case the one in Baltimore is broken.
