Little Soul was set up by three founding members, Aisling Flynn, Katie-Ann McDonough and Kelley Gissane in 2013. The company's first venture was a work in progress which took place during the 2014 Collaborations Festival. The work in progress called "The List of Reasons Why I Don't Like Mr.Creedy" is in the process of being turned into a full play. Little Soul are also gearing up for a production of Ironmistress which will be taking place in Dublin in late 2014 as well as a devised piece that is currently in development.
This June Little Soul will be presenting the Irish Premiere of Evan Placey's Girls Like That. This play centres around the effect of the use of social media in young people's lives. This play will focus on the skewed morals and alienation created by a constant need for online validation. This play aims to challenge our use of profiles over people.
Your support and involvement is essential to make this production a reality! This money will go to venue hire, equipment rental as well as costume and set.
