Lash at D' Glash Album

Hi my name is Stephen Spratt, I am a 28 year old singer/songwriter from Thurles, County Tipperary. Thank you so much for checking out my Fund it project and I hope that you may be able to help me out.

I started this project to help fund a compilation album which I am currently putting together. The Album will be made up of original music from unsigned artists from all around Tipperary and will be sold to raise funds for a fundraiser, the Lash @ D’glash, which we have been holding now for the past two years in aid of The Irish Pilgrimage Trust and Pieta house.

The album is going great and nearly all the tracks needed are in and sounding amazing.

But where I am hitting a wall is trying to fund the duplication, printing and press of the album, and that is where I am hoping you will come in. But before I get into that I’d like to tell you about the causes we will be helping from the sale of this Album.

The Irish Pilgrimage Trust which I am sure most of you have heard of. Have for over the last 40 years been travelling on pilgrimage and on holiday to Lourdes with young people with special needs from all over Ireland. They do fantastic work every year and every penny we can send there way helps them to keep them doing what they do best.

Our second charity:
Pieta house is a centre for the prevention of self harm and suicide and we are very proud to be able to help them out each year. The funds received by pieta house help them to insure that if someone needs help and support that they get it.

Both of these charities are vey close to our hearts and  we want to do as much for them as we possibly can.

That target I have set to partly get the printing and press for the Album which I am hoping to release in early January 2014 is €600, with the remainder of the cost being made up by ourselves.
