K-FEST 2022

K-FEST, a dynamic arts festival with an emphasis on emerging artists, uses unoccupied spaces in Killorglin, Co. Kerry, transforming vacant retail outlets, deserted buildings, and even domestic homes into curated bespoke pop-up galleries and venues. Over the course of the June Bank Holiday weekend 3rd-6th, we will host more than 60 events in addition to a gallery trail, including live music, as well as spoken word, drama, comedy, short films, street entertainment, and activities for kids and families.

K-FEST is organised by a group of passionate and committed artists, business people, educators, and volunteers, who work with a finance officer to ensure maximum bang for our buck. Over 60 events, include a pop-up gallery trail, live music, spoken word, drama, film, street entertainment, kids and families activities.

Having to cancel in 2020 and operate under restrictions last year, your generosity will help K-FEST 2022 to happen. Money raised through Fund it will help us to cover many costs. Bands need to be paid, artists’ expenses need to be covered, programmes and posters need to be printed and distributed, advertising and media coverage needs to be secured... The list goes on.

For 2022 Fund it will continue to be one of the main sources of funding for K-FEST. As a volunteer organisation, it is safe to say that without the contributions of all those via Fund it K-FEST would not meet the standard it has set on the national cultural stage.

For those familiar with K-FEST and Fund it, we would be delighted if you would consider contributing again, and for those contributing for the first time, thank you. Money is not taken from your account until the Fund it campaign ends, so you don't need money at the time you make the pledge. You can pledge any amount of money you wish. The rewards start at €25.

By contributing to K-FEST you’re not just guaranteeing yourself the best weekend out of the year — you’re supporting the creativity and careers of dozens of visual and performing artists and musicians, as well as helping create a showcase for Ireland’s best emerging talent.
