2013 marks the 30th anniversary of Dublin Pride parades. It is also the 20th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Ireland. To celebrate, we will create an interactive walking tour of Dublin through many of the historical points of interest.

We are LGBT Synergy, a not-for-profit, all volunteer community development group. We identify and organise programmes and services geared towards the wants and needs of the LGBT community. We're new! :)

This free app tour, which starts at The Oscar Wilde statue in Dublin, explains the history of the Dublin LGBT Community. At many stops along the way, you will listen to audio clips about the history of the parades, the inspirations, the characters, the dramas, the highs and the shocking lows.

We have already started the project but we are in need of content. Your donation will fund the technical aspects of an app, the actual tour audio resources and the graphic design. We will be launching the app at the end of Feb, LGBT History month, 2013.

So, discover the rich history of the LGBT community of Dublin. Commentary will be provided by some of Ireland's best storytellers! Please support this wonderful project to celebrate and remember our culture!
