Debut album Where I'm from, (STEO WALL)

this past year I have been working tirelessly on my debut album titled,"Where I'm from," I have taken it as far as it can go musically in the studio, It's a peeled back low key affair with a live vibe running throughout the album, my songs are at their strongest in a live setting and that's exactly what I've tried to capture here. some of the songs on this album are stories from my youth. either from my own life experience directly or indirectly through the lives of those closest to me these lyrics are true to life. This album kinda differs a little from others in style. I'm not boxed into one genre when it comes to writing songs. Whatever the song calls for I try get it with just a guitar. So there are love songs, folk songs, rap songs and everything else in between. There is literally something for every one.

I've been using and bending words for as far back as I can recall. Last year I was introduced to Martin O'Malley of Malbay studio's in Milltown Malbay Co Clare. He instantly set a laid back vibe in the studio and aloud me put down song after song at me leisure. I've also had the absolute pleasure of having some of the finest musicians county Clare and in fact Ireland has to offer, play on this album. Luka Bloom among many other talented names will appear on this record. At the end of last year I had the pleasure of touring with a musical hero of mine, Damien Dempsey that feeling of being on stage and the response to my songs at those concerts is what lit the fire in me to record my album.

Coupled with my own personal investments in this album I'm asking for your support to ensure the album is of the highest quality available. For this to happen I need to futher my funding resources. Your support in this project ensure that the music gets the quality it deserves. If I reach my target all the monies will go towards:

5 days recording in studio @ 250 per day = 1500
5 days mixing and mastering = 1500
Duplication of 1000 copies of album plus CD cover = 1500
And art work for CD cover and inside = 500

When it comes to my songs I can sometimes be a tiny little bit of a perfectionist. So at times in this project I have had to step out of my own way and trust solely in the team I have placed around me.
