Dave O'Neill - Debut Solo Album

My name is Dave O'Neill and I'm a singer/songwriter from Carlow. For years I've been writing songs and performing all around Ireland and Europe. My style has been described as a mix of Noel Gallagher and Declan O'Rourke. I have a band called New Musty Rhythms and we have just finished our E.P. but this project is a solo album.

I have a catalogue of songs to choose from for this album which I've written over the years. All my efforts will go into this album to make sure it is the best I can achieve, for myself and for those of you kind enough to help out with funding. I thoroughly believe in this music and these songs.

If the target is reached, it would be a huge help towards what I want to achieve. The cost overall is going to be around 5000 euro. This is to pay for studio time, mastering, session musicians to play on the album and c.d. duplication.

I intend on paying the other costs myself through personal savings and money earned through cover gigs.

My band New Musty Rhythms will still be together and gigging but these songs and this project will be an effort to create a different sound to what we have with the band.

I really appreciate any funding you can help me out with and through the rewards scheme you can see that any funding will not be gone unrewarded whichever amount you should choose to pledge.

The album should be completed by August all going well.

Again, I will be forever grateful to any funding made and it will keep me driving towards my one desire of having people hear my songs on the radio and sing along to them at gigs.
