We have almost completed recording our second album 'Rumble Shake' and need your help to get it released.
It's been a very busy 2 years for us since the release of 'Electric soup'. We have been to Italy, back to Glastonbury, toured Texas with Ray Wylie Hubbard and of course played 100's of gigs across Ireland. Due to our relentless ambition to continue pushing what we do by our constant touring, we are not in the position to bring this project to completion without your help.
We're offering numerous rewards and pre-sales for you all. We have exclusive cards, tees and even original art pieces, so take a look at the rewards and please pledge what you can.
The funds from this campaign will be used to pay for mixing, mastering & duplication.
Description: Since forming in 2009, Crow Black Chicken have earned back-pats aplenty for their dirty southern blues sound. This power trio of Christy O 'Hanlon (Vocals, Guitar), Stephen McGrath (Bass) and Gev Barrett (Drums, backing vocals) combine elements of folk and hard rock with the blues rock of bands like Gov't mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin to create their greasy no bullshit blues rock sound.
CBC gained their first big break by winning the All Ireland battle for Glastonbury in 2011 thanks to their debut EP 'Organic' and their raw live show.
Debut album Electric Soup, released in June 2012, typifies this positive energy with 13 tracks of tooth-rattling rhythms and bluesy rock’n roll vibes. Upon the release of Electric Soup, the trio from Ireland's deep south have won the adoration of many, playing major festivals and countless venues across Ireland in 2012.
2013 saw the band return to Glastonbury and travel to Texas for a short tour with Ray Wylie Hubbard whom with they also recorded a track about blues legend Jessie Mae Hemphill which will feature on their second album due out in 2014.
