cliodhna wishes for a printing press!

My name is Cliodhna Quinlan and I am a practicing artist based in Roscommon. I am currently in my final year of a fine art degree course in GMIT Castlebar. I have done some dry point etching in the course of my studies and I find it suits my style. Also, the discipline of pure line is very satisfying to me. I want to buy a portable printing press that is for sale in Cork and also order some inks and copper plates.

I will be making a handmade art book comprising of about ten etchings telling the story in allegory form of 'The Little Blue King of Bird-land' which is to do with the conscious breakdown of the self and shamanic like journey to the underworld of ones being and back again, referencing Jung, alchemy and Mexican Shamanic practices. These are the etchings which I am offering as a reward for funding me. They will start to be ready from about October onward, will be about 15cm x 25 cm and you can choose whichever one you would like.
