We are delighted to welcome you to the new exciting project, Castleknock Music Festival. It is a great pleasure for us to present such a cultural event of the highest quality in the beautiful surroundings of Castleknock and general Dublin 15 area.
We would like to deliver a series of events on the first weekend in July packed with family workshops and popular classical concerts during the days and exquisite classical concerts in the evenings. The events are hosted in Castleknock Community Centre, St Brigid’s Church and Castleknock Hotel.
We are very honoured to have the incredible internationally acclaimed guest musicians to perform at the festival, such as Sylvia O'Brien (soprano), Julian Milkis (clarinet), Elizabeth Cooney (violin), Gerald Peregrine (cello), Elizaveta Ivanova (piano), alongside with the artistic directors of the festival, the residents of Castleknock, vocalist Sinead O’Connell and pianist Anna Kiselyova. We all are very passionate about the music we would like to share with you and we believe that every live performance is unique, creative and unrepeatable.
Our artistic directors have vast experience in event management. As an artistic director of the Cultural and Educational Community Centre at the Russian Orthodox Church in Dublin, Anna Kiselyova organised a number of highly successful cultural events in the National Concert Hall and other major venues in Ireland, with the support of Dublin City Council, Russian Embassy in Ireland and Russian Orthodox Church in Ireland. Sinead O’Connell has directed a number of musicals including Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story.
We greatly appreciate the support of Fingal County Council, however, the costs arising from establishing an event such as this are larger than one sponsor can meet. This is why the CMF needs your help!
Your contribution will go directly towards the running costs of the festival. Your contribution will help pay for artistic fees, piano hire, venue hire, insurance, transportation, publicity and much more. It will also go towards our Family Workshops, which offer children an exciting opportunity to explore musical instruments and meet the composers in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
There are always some risks and challenges in managing events of this level, and we are prepared to face various situations when the things might go not exactly as planned. However, with our experience and creative minds, we believe that we will be able to find a solution to every particular situation and to deliver the events to you in the best possible way.
Thank you for your precious time reading about our project! Now we are looking forward to seeing you at the Festival and sharing with you the magical moments of live music and wonderful feelings it give us.
