"Bollocks" student film

"Bollocks" is a third year video and film project in dundalk institute of technology, and is currently under pre-production, pending funding. A film that is part of our final project but also a project we hope will help to raise awareness for testicular cancer.

Funding for this project will be used to try and provide the best production quality possible, specifically better lighting and camera equipment. It may also include food and travel/accommodation expenses for actors.

The film will be in production by April 7th through to the 12th of April

The story, based on true events, is a satirical comment on the nervousness men experience when faced with such a sensitive issue of testicular cancer.Through the comedy of the piece we hope to encourage those who see it to recognise that regardless of however embarrassed a man may be about his illness, he can always find help. The title also moves towards breaking down barriers for men, with such a coarse and direct statement of the topic, we aim to abolish any social taboo surrounding the topic of testicular cancer.
