WHAT, WHERE, WHEN
BlueFire Street Fest is a free annual celebration of the cultural and artistic diversity in Dublin that lets you travel the world in 80 steps!
The 2015 BlueFire Street Fest takes place in Smithfield Square, Dublin 7, on Saturday, 19 September and will see an array of Dublin’s international and local performers and artists from the Dublin arts scene. With world music on the main stage, a graffiti art jam, street performers, buskers, a market fair, drumming workshops and salsa beats, inspirational talks, and of course a children's area for the young'uns, it's lining up to be another incredible festival!
HOW
This is our 3rd annual BlueFire Street Fest which is organised and run by BlueFire’s team of volunteers. As you might imagine, organising a free festival to the same high standard as a ticketed event is particularly challenging, especially when it comes to costs, however so far, we’ve raised two thirds of the target needed for this year’s festival thanks to our supporters including Jameson, Dublin City Council and Visit Dublin.
Now, we’re depending on your generosity to make up the remaining one third needed to make this year’s festival better than ever! Any contribution would be much appreciated, and aside from receiving our undying gratitude and affection, you'll also get the satisfaction of knowing that you're helping keep this great event free for everyone!
As the BlueFire team works on a voluntary basis your contribution will go directly towards organising and running the BlueFire Street Fest 2015.
WHO
At BlueFire, our mission is to foster integration through the arts and community engagement by creating free artistic and cultural events that make the most of Dublin, its diversity and its space. Join BlueFire's creative and energetic team and let's bring Smithfield Square alive with the best of Dublin’s world cultures.
