Established in 2010, BLOW Photo Magazine has enjoyed 10 issues as Ireland’s only large format publication dedicated to photography. Each issue follows a different theme and is a separate project. These act as a hand held exhibition for some of the best photographers around the world.
In this highly digital world we aim to bring photos back into your hands and onto your walls. You can experience the true physical quality and beauty of the art of photography, you can smell the ink from these huge pages and discover something new amongst the pages. BLOW Photo Magazine is printed to encourage you to hold it and hang it! (with a little art and crafting)
Nominated for a Lucie Award in 2013, this was an unprecedented achievement for a tiny Irish publication. For all our success we struggle to meet the print costs of each issue as well as postage and packaging. This has not deterred us from our goal, and we hope you will join us to make issue 11 a reality. We need your help! Our talented staff of four are already working on Issue 11, which has the theme of 'the family'. Our Artists are already on board and the design is in progress.
To turn Blow 11 into the object we envisage, we need your investment and help, no matter how great or small! Thank you for looking at our campaign and we look forward to bringing you issue 11.

"Its refreshing to see such a magazine that combines such clean and cutting design with the superb quality of photography consistently with each new edition. One can see instantly the love and care that has gone into the crafting of each edition on every level. Great work guys, looking forward to the next issue."
- Stephen Kavanagh, Design Factory
"In my opinion Blow Magazine is a hugely innovative and influential production for the Irish market. The attention to quality and detail is immense and I would go as far as to say that in itself, it is a thing of beauty. I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone."
- Julian Douglas MD entertainment.ie
"Blow is a magazine that I keep and treasure and love to show off to my overseas friends and colleagues -it is a fine as anything published anywhere and we all should be proud if it. It elevates the whole photographic scene here in Ireland, is visually beautiful, and is not full of the usual grant-aided stuff that no one pays any attention to. My kind of magazine".
- Jim FitzPatrick. Artist and occasional photographer.
