Our first 100 days – how have we done?
Posted on Friday July 1st 2011
So, today is our 100-day birthday and we would like to thank you for all your pledges, support, messages, blogs, likes, tweets and retweets (and even a case of beer!)…
There have been some fantastic stories from our Fund it projects so far including Loreana Rushe reaching her target within 3 hours and ending her campaign on 194%; Monster Truck Gallery & Studios receiving a matching gift for all their pledges from a donor; IMMA displayed a donor wall of all their pledgers beside the works they purchased; and Landmark Productions successfully raised €16,145 for a new production of Misterman by Enda Walsh, starting Cillian Murphy…and we hope there are many more to come…
We promised to keep you up to date with what’s happening, and 100 days seems like a great time to tell you. But telling you isn’t enough. Like our new Government being tested on their promises at 100 days – we’d like you to let us know what you think, and how we’re doing as well. We are, after all, just one of many in the crowd!
So here are some statistics on the first 100 days :

So there’s the numbers but, quite honestly, we’ve been overwhelmed by your interest so far and we know that many of the project creators feel the same way and are busily recording, writing, painting, designing and performing their way to fulfilling your rewards.
‘Fund it Towers’ has always been a gloom-free zone. The slice of creativity, imagination and determination that we see through projects and their supporters affirms our faith in the idea that too many brilliant ideas end up on the cutting room floor. That’s changing…and it’s all down to you!
So…thanks for everything so far, and here’s to the next 1000 days!
